Binghamton, NY. Making a mark in her lifetime and showing others how to do the same is how Joyce Jagger is doing her part to contribute to Women’s History Month.
Joyce, an author and award-winning entrepreneur who has become known throughout the garment industry as The Embroidery Coach, has much to share with businesses that need guidance and information on creating a successful enterprise. Her goal is to affect these businesses, both established and newly created, in a positive way through her seminars, coaching and actions.
In accord with the 2017 theme, Honoring Trailblazing Women in Labor and Business, Joyce inspires women and girls in their endeavors.
Under her expert guidance, business owners can take part in her workshops, get tips on operating various machines, learn about accounting systems and more, in addition to one on one coaching to aid in their success. Joyce also addresses issues regarding which areas of business are either profiting or losing money, where you stand financially, tackling invoicing and spreadsheets and tracking in-store orders.
When asked about her experience of helping other embroidery business owners, Joyce said, “In my nearly 40 years of experience, I have hit some stumbling blocks and I have also excelled. I've had my fair share in the middle ground, too. Because of all those experiences, I can give my students the tools to succeed in a much shorter time frame. Building their business and embroidery skills bolsters their self-confidence and gives them an excellent foundation on which to build a successful and thriving embroidery business. My hope is to help encourage, train, and improve as many aspiring and established embroiderers and apparel decorators to success that I can!”
Women's History Month is an annual declared month that highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society. It is celebrated during March in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
